Anew Wellbeing is a small independent business. This Privacy Policy explains how we process any personal data we collect when you visit us for a class in person, or digitally on our website.
Any data we collect is done with your permission and is only used by us for essential communication about class bookings, the purchase of services and relevant direct marketing designed regarding the services we offer. We will never share your data with third parties at any time.
Anew Wellbeing takes your privacy seriously and is committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected. We will ask you to provide information when registering to join our classes, this information will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
How we collect your data
Anew Wellbeing will ask for personal data including your name, contact details and health screening information through our Health Questionnaire Forms when you first register to join our classes. This is required by our insurance company and provides essential information required to work within our professional guidelines and in accordance with PAR-Q. We are required by law to keep client records for seven years after last visit. This personal data is necessary in order to carry out basic communication, fulfil bookings, give you the best service, and to safeguard your health and wellbeing.
Paper data records are kept in a locked file when not in use by Anew Wellbeing and are only seen by Sheila Croken, owner of Anew Wellbeing, who has direct dealings with our clients.
Digital data records are stored in secure servers with Microsoft OneDrive. Microsoft’s privacy policy can be found here.
Anew Wellbeing does not store customer payment information digitally or in paper form.
How we use your data
We use email as the primary form of communication. We also periodically send general email newsletters using Mailchimp about products and services we offer to both existing and previous customers, or those who have directly enquired about our services or visited for taster or other class events. How we protect your data
We will protect your digital and paper data using our secure systems and through due diligence with paper filing systems held under lock and key.
We will never share your information with any third party. If you are under the care of another practitioner e.g., doctor or manipulative/physical therapist we will ask that you pass on any relevant information, rather than us speaking to them directly, unless both parties have your express permission.
Marketing communications
We provide an unsubscribe option for marketing emails in every communication sent. We invite new customers to opt-in for our newsletters and promotions in a secure form on our website. There are opportunities to unsubscribe from these at any time.
How we collect digital data
We collect information about our customers using our website analytics an Google Analytics. This information includes website visit history, time spent on our website, the number of pages accessed and the popularity of each page (Google Analytics). This information is used only by Anew Wellbeing to improve our products and services. Google Analytics is a generic tool and does not identify the individual. We do not pass on or sell this information to any third parties.
Cookies
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and site visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. You can set your browser not to accept cookies if you choose to.
